OzShut works across Subiaco, fitting roller shutters on the Federation and character homes that line streets like Hamersley Road and Heytesbury Road, on the modern apartments of Subi Centro, and on businesses up and down the Rokeby Road shopping strip. Inner-western Perth has its own design sensibilities, and our shutters meet them while still delivering the comfort, protection and efficiency you’d expect.
Subiaco residents love their homes for the character and the location, but those same things bring real-world challenges. Roller shutters help with all of them. They knock down summer heat, lock in winter warmth, and quiet the noise from Thomas Street, Hay Street, and the Fremantle line. They also let you dial light and privacy up or down at will, which suits everyone from shift workers to anyone with a street-facing bedroom.
Each OzShut shutter is custom made from quality aluminium and comes in a colour range that includes finishes designed to sit comfortably alongside heritage brickwork and contemporary facades alike. They look the part and they do the job.

At OzShut, we believe in doing things the right way – no pushy sales tactics, no shortcuts, just honest advice and quality roller shutters that stand the test of time. That’s why thousands of West Aussies trust us to protect their homes and businesses.
We’re proud to be ProductReview.com.au award winners for 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, thanks to the incredible feedback from our happy customers. If you’re looking for roller shutters in Perth, go with the team locals rely on – go with OzShut.
There’s no such thing as a typical Subiaco property. We’ve installed shutters on restored Federation cottages, character bungalows, contemporary apartments, terrace houses and converted warehouses. Whatever you’re working with, our shutters are built to suit. From a heritage home a block off Rokeby Road to a townhouse in Subi Centro to a shopfront on Hay Street, the result respects what makes the place special.
Sitting only three kilometres from the CBD and right next to Kings Park, Subiaco catches strong afternoon sun and the warm easterlies that sweep across the inner suburbs in summer. Many of the older homes here weren’t built with modern insulation, so a set of roller shutters makes a noticeable difference to comfort and to the cost of running the air con.
Subiaco’s blend of high-value homes and active retail and entertainment precincts creates its own security considerations. Roller shutters provide a visible deterrent and a physical barrier across your windows, both of which discourage break-ins. They’re particularly useful for ground-floor apartments, character homes set close to the street, and commercial premises that need reliable overnight cover.
All OzShut shutters can be motorised and fitted with a battery back-up, so a power outage doesn’t leave you with shutters stuck up or down. The neat housing finishes the window cleanly, which matters when you’re putting modern hardware on a heritage home.
