OzShut has been working in Cannington for years. We’ve fitted roller shutters on quiet family streets between Albany Highway and the Canning River, on apartments and townhouses near the station, and on businesses across the Westfield Carousel and Cannington Leisureplex precinct. We understand the demands of this part of Perth, and we build shutters that meet them.
For Cannington homes and businesses, roller shutters earn their keep in a few different ways at once. They cut indoor temperatures during summer, hold heat in over winter, and dampen the sound of traffic from Albany Highway, Leach Highway, and the Armadale and Thornlie-Cockburn rail lines. They give you total control over how much light and privacy you let in, which matters for shift workers, families near busy retail strips, and anyone living close to entertainment precincts.
OzShut shutters are made from quality aluminium, custom built for each window, and finished in a colour palette that suits everything from older brick homes to sleek modern apartments. Function and style, in one tidy package.

We’re proud to be ProductReview.com.au award winners for 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, thanks to the incredible feedback from our happy customers. If you’re looking for roller shutters in Perth, go with the team locals rely on – go with OzShut.
Cannington has one of the most mixed housing profiles in Perth. Post-war family homes share streets with new townhouses, apartment blocks and ground-floor retail. That variety is exactly what OzShut roller shutters are designed for. We can fit out an established home on a leafy cul-de-sac, a multi-unit development near Cannington Station, or a shopfront along William Street, and the result looks tailored to the property every time.
At only 12 kilometres from the Perth CBD, Cannington gets all the warmth of an inner suburb without the breeze coming off the coast. Afternoons run hot, and storms occasionally roll in across the Canning River flats. Roller shutters take the brunt of all of that, shielding your windows and keeping your home or business comfortable inside.
With a major retail centre, multiple high-traffic precincts and an active rail station all in one suburb, security is something Cannington residents think about. Roller shutters add a serious physical barrier to your windows and they make your property look harder to enter, which is often enough to send opportunists looking elsewhere. They’re equally valuable for businesses needing reliable after-hours protection.
Motorised operation is available on all our shutters, with a battery back-up option so you don’t lose control during a blackout. The slim profile sits neatly above the window, finishing the look of the property without dominating it.
