OzShut has fitted roller shutters across South Perth for years. We’ve worked on the character homes along Angelo Street, the riverside apartments around Mends Street, and the leafy residential streets running back from Sir James Mitchell Park. This is one of Perth’s most photographed suburbs, and our shutters are designed to keep it looking the part while delivering real protection.
Living near the river is a treat, but it brings its own set of conditions. Roller shutters help with all of them. They keep summer heat out and winter warmth in, soften the constant background noise from Mill Point Road, Canning Highway and the Kwinana Freeway, and they put light and privacy fully under your control. That last point matters a lot if you’re a shift worker, you’re trying to set up a home theatre, or your bedroom faces the foreshore.
Our shutters are made from solid aluminium, built to fit your specific windows, and offered in a colour range that complements both the contemporary apartments around the foreshore and the established character homes through the rest of the suburb.

At OzShut, we believe in doing things the right way – no pushy sales tactics, no shortcuts, just honest advice and quality roller shutters that stand the test of time. That’s why thousands of West Aussies trust us to protect their homes and businesses.
We’re proud to be ProductReview.com.au award winners for 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026, thanks to the incredible feedback from our happy customers. If you’re looking for roller shutters in Perth, go with the team locals rely on – go with OzShut.
South Perth’s housing stock is genuinely diverse. California bungalows, modern apartments, riverside residences, townhouses and small businesses all share the postcode. OzShut roller shutters cover the full spread. We can fit a family home near Wesley College, a high-rise apartment with river views, or a shopfront on the Mends Street strip, and we’ll match the shutter style and finish to suit.
Being on the river brings strong afternoon sun, the occasional summer storm, and noticeable aircraft noise from Perth Airport’s cross runway. Our roller shutters do real work in those conditions: shielding windows from sun and wind, dulling aircraft noise, and keeping the indoor environment comfortable through every season.
South Perth’s mix of high-density apartment buildings and ground-floor properties along the busy precincts means security is always worth thinking about, especially for owners who travel often. Roller shutters add a serious layer of physical protection across windows, and they signal clearly that the property isn’t an easy target. They’re also great for keeping apartments secure when you’re away.
All our shutters can be set up with motorised operation and a battery back-up, so power outages don’t leave you locked out of your own windows. The slim, custom-fitted housing keeps the look of the property intact, which matters in a suburb this picturesque.
